(Part of the packet is information part it’s the worksheet)

1 class period (if individually done)
~25-30 minutes (if done in partners)
Reinforcement video: BrainPop (Tim & Moby) Wind Energy [requires a subscription, and it’s not free :-( ]
Clicker Questions: from Brain pop using “clickers” or a similar program like Socrative
~ 10 - 15 minutes

“Engineer your own wind turbine” Project
(Send home parent sheet a week ahead of time and have a spot for them to store materials as they bring them in)

“Show me” Activity (have groups 4/5 present/act out how wind turbines work)
Planning/ filming the presentations: ~ 20-30 minutes
Presentation: No more than ~ 5 minutes per group
